Because of this we have developed JailHost - an advanced level security option that isolates sites from each other. In case an Internet site gets compromised, the attacker will be unable to see or access any other content outside the site folder, so all other Internet sites inside the account will be protected and will remain intact. The JailHost option will never replace performing regular script updates or using difficult passwords, but it will minimize any damage to your Internet sites significantly, so you'll have to fix only one site instead of all of them.
JailHost in Cloud Web Hosting
If you host your Internet sites inside a cloud web hosting account from our firm, you could protect them using the JailHost option with just a few mouse clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. This option is provided with all plans and can be activated for every folder as the domains and subdomains in Hepsia have different folders, so that files for various sites don't get mixed up like it regularly happens with other Control Panels. We haven't activated JailHost by default because you might use scripts that need access to folders outside the primary website folder and this option could interfere with their correct functioning, but shielding all of the other folders is very simple. If a protected website gets hacked for some reason, we can recover it quickly since we'll have multiple daily backups of your entire account and you will even be able to view the available backups using Hepsia.
JailHost in Semi-dedicated Hosting
JailHost comes with all of our semi-dedicated hosting packages and you can activate it with several clicks. It is not turned on by default since we don't want to prevent some scripts that may need to gain access to multiple folders in the account from functioning properly. You could enable JailHost for all other Internet sites that you have from the Hepsia Control Panel and this can be done quickly even when you lack previous experience. What allows us to offer JailHost is the way in which Hepsia manages multiple domains - they all have separate folders which could be "locked". In contrast, other widespread Control Panels feature add-on domains and the content of the latter is kept in the primary domain folder, so in case a single website is hacked, the whole account is hacked, that isn't the case with Hepsia. In the event that a site gets damaged regardless of your efforts, we shall be able to restore it the way it was very quickly because we'll keep several daily backup copies of the entire account.
